Our chefs are skilled at local food, flexible enough to cater for special orders and can put together something special with minimum notice. Feast on local favourites or enjoy beautifully prepared western meals at our signature Rush Bamboo Restaurant. Overlooking the main pool, lined with blue and white cabana, Rush Bamboo Restaurant provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and an all day pool menu.
Start the day right with our all-inclusive breakfasts offering a choice of classic and Asian choices alongside a healthy menu of fruits, yoghurt, home-made granola, fresh juices and vegetarian selections.
Lunch and dinner offer a range of menus to suit the health conscious and those who enjoy a little indulgence. Our professional chef is happy to adapt our menus for special requests and all meals are freshly prepared to order.
Special themed evenings offer a chance to mingle with other guests and sample local specialties including out weekly rijstaffel feast, our famous seafood barbecue and the popular satay night with special entertainment.

Afternoon Tea
Every afternoon our chef prepares a beautiful three tiered sampling of both western and local snacks for our popular afternoon tea. Enjoy it poolside with a pot of your favourite tea, or celebrate with a chilled glass of bubbles. From pandan steamed cakes filled with coconut and honey, to traditional chocolate cakes, cookies and savoury spring rolls and tiny sandwiches, afternoon tea is more than a ritual, it’s a pleasure.
Satay Night
The smell of the sizzling skewers evokes memories of market stalls and tropical evenings as our chef prepares a variety of satay to try alongside traditional side dishes and sambal. The traditional grilled skewers, satay, are found in every region of Indonesia, and each culture has their own twist. Satay night is held weekly at Rush bamboo restaurant and is one of our most popular events. It’s a great opportunity for guests to mix and mingle in our social spaces around the pool and sample some of Indonesia’s favourite flavours.
